SCS has won the Management Excellence Award given to two nonprofit agencies in greater northern California each year by the Chevron Corporation and the Management Center. We have received an award for Outstanding Service as well as for Creativity, Leadership, and Collaboration from United Way Silicon Valley. We have 100% clean audits and maintain low overhead expenses. We leverage contributions with volunteer hours that equal 13.75 full-time employees and enable us to provide more services with fewer paid staff members (8).

Sunnyvale Community Services will not sell, trade or share a donor's personal information with anyone else, nor send donor mailings on behalf of other organizations. In our twice-annual newsletter, we list names only of donors giving $1,000 or more annually, and we honor all donor requests for donations to be anonymous.
